  I had a terrible experience with The Flower Pail. I ordered flowers for my mother and future MIL for mother's day this year. I ordered them on Thursday, and they had to be delivered on Saturday because they aren't open on Sunday. Then, less than 24 hours before Mother's Day I got an email saying that the order was rejected for ONE of the orders because they were out of flowers. I assumed the other order still went through, so I was able to find another flower shop that was able to fulfill the last minute order. However, when I spoke to my mother on mother's day, she had never received the flowers. We never got an email saying her order had been cancelled, and when I called the shop to inquire about what had happened, the girl on the phone said there was nothing she could do about it. I've worked in customer service for many years, and as good business practice the least she could have done was get an order of flowers sent to my mother, even though it was late. She said there was nothing she could do, that it was out of her control, and that was it. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed and upset that after everything they couldn't send my mom flowers - which is their only job? Just crazy. If you're looking to send someone flowers and have them actually receive flowers, find a different service to use.
